I love The Moon!

There are a couple of different meanings for the moon in Tarot.
I like to think of walking along a path on a clear, full-moon night in the middle of winter at midnight. The land is covered with fresh glistening snow. As I walk, the dark of night is chased away by the moon’s glowing light that reflects off the snow, lighting up the land so I have no fear. I can see my path clearly. I can see any dangers that might be lurking. I’m safe. I’m loved. It’s a warm feeling as I wander through the magical night. The path is mysterious. It’s a chance to use my intuition and discover the truth that attempts to hide from me.
The moon is mystical and brings my intuition to the surface of my being.
The moon also has a dark side.
That’s when, in the fall of the year, I’m walking through the night with a new moon above and clouds covering the stars, plunging me into total darkness. I’m unable to see where to place my next step. I can hear noises near me but cannot see the dangers. I wrap my arms around me as I shiver, even though it’s warm and dry.
The moon is warning me that things are not as they seem. There is uncertainty about the area, an unknown reality around me. I see shadows giving the illusion of monsters just off to the side. I feel secrets around me, and they frighten me. I’m unsure of where I’m heading. This fills me with anxiety and insecurity.
I love the Moon! It can show me the wonders of my world, but it can also offer uncertainty. Listen to it carefully.
